An electric vehicle can show a low-voltage electrical warning even when its driving battery has charge remaining. Describe the warning exactly and follow the vehicle’s instructions about stopping, charging or arranging assistance. Do not assume a charge-level display establishes the condition of every electrical supply.

Why the complete report matters
An enquiry labelled “DC/DC fault” should include the full reporting-module name, code and accompanying alerts. State whether the vehicle wakes, enters its ready state and charges normally. Describe those observations only when already known; do not keep trying to drive or restart a vehicle that tells you to stop.
Explain any recent low-voltage battery replacement, recovery, accessory installation, water ingress or software work. Include the battery specification and workshop paperwork where available. Different architectures require different procedures, so generic jump-start or battery-disconnection advice is not a substitute for the correct owner manual.
Prepare an electrical assessment
A useful enquiry separates the symptom from work already completed. For example, say that a battery was replaced and the same warning returned, rather than stating that the converter must therefore be defective. Attach existing battery and charging-system test results with their dates and conditions.
The electrical diagnostics route helps with supply and wiring concerns. Use the EV and hybrid route to discuss electrified-vehicle support. Do not remove high-voltage covers, disconnect orange cabling or post an assembly before the job is agreed.
