FlexRay operation relies on timing synchronisation. A warning about synchronisation is a different observation from an ordinary missing application message.

How to narrow it down

Save the full network report and record whether the warning follows a module replacement, a supply interruption or a particular operating condition. Ask for evidence connecting the timing event with the customer complaint. A fault label alone does not identify which controller should be replaced.

What to include with the fault report

Keep the original configuration and part identities with the diagnostic timeline.

The response depends on the vehicle’s network design. Do not change timing or configuration values simply to suppress a stored warning.
