A replacement capacitor is not defined only by its capacitance. Its electrical characteristics can affect the behaviour of the regulator it supports.

What to check next

Review the original circuit requirements and the exact replacement fitted. If a rail oscillates or the module resets after repair, compare the waveform under the relevant loads. Check soldering and connections as well as the component specification before changing more parts.
