Failure to reach READY after seat, trim or accessory work should be reported with a precise account of the work performed. The timing helps locate relevant areas but does not establish that a hybrid battery has failed.
Keep the repair history specific
State which seats or panels were removed, whether the low-voltage battery was disconnected and whether any warning appeared before the work. Provide invoices or the installer’s notes where available. Tell the workshop if the vehicle ever reached READY between the repair and the current fault.
Do not disconnect unfamiliar under-seat connectors or bridge a circuit to clear a warning. Depending on the vehicle, nearby systems may include restraints or other safety-related equipment. Preserve the scan with all reporting modules and arrange assessment if the car cannot be operated normally. Ask for checks based on the actual wiring layout and recent work, rather than sending a guessed controller for repair.
