Warranty discussions are clearer when internal repair and vehicle-side conditions are documented separately. A repaired unit returning to a defective connected circuit can complicate both diagnosis and responsibility.
Keep the installation evidence
Ask the repairer which checks are required before reconnection and ensure the installing garage records them. Retain the original scan, repair findings and post-installation result. Read the actual warranty terms rather than assuming universal coverage.
