The generic P0713 description concerns a high input in the transmission-fluid temperature sensor circuit. “High input” is an electrical fault description; it should not be rewritten as a confirmed gearbox overheating event. Give the reading a context
Record whether the gearbox was cold after standing, warm after normal driving or already displaying another warning. Preserve the units used by the diagnostic tool. A temperature number copied without Celsius or Fahrenheit can create unnecessary confusion during a referral.
Include any accompanying codes, the transmission identification and the history of connector, fluid or mechatronic work. If a sensor or internal harness has already been replaced, send its part number and the before-and-after results. Do not describe a component as ruled out simply because it is new.
