A working image does not verify every overlay or guidance function. Some guide lines depend on configuration or information from other systems, and available features vary by vehicle.

Establish the expected equipment

Check the owner’s settings and whether the lines previously appeared. Include camera, head-unit or steering-related work. Record whether fixed and moving lines are both missing or only one type.

Do not assume every replacement camera supports the original overlays. The workshop should confirm compatibility and relevant inputs before programming. Use direct observation and mirrors for manoeuvring as instructed; a camera feature is an aid. A precise description helps separate display settings, missing information and an unsuitable replacement assembly.
