A visible mismatch after headlamp replacement needs the assemblies and light sources identified. Age, specification, installation and control can affect appearance; a software fault should not be assumed from colour alone.
Compare the fitted parts
Keep both part numbers and the supplier’s description. Record whether the replacement is new, used or aftermarket and whether it matches the vehicle’s approved configuration. Photographs should show both lamps under the same conditions.
Ask the installer to assess compatibility and aim with suitable equipment. Do not change coding or fit higher-output parts simply to compensate visually. If lighting performance is unsafe, avoid night driving until assessed. A clear installation record helps distinguish an unsuitable assembly from a control issue needing specialist electronics work.
