A faint glow can be related to the fitted lamp technology or circuit behaviour, but it should not be treated as normal without checking the correct equipment and conditions. Note whether the lamps are original or recently changed.
Describe duration and pattern
Does the glow persist after the vehicle is locked and settled, or occur briefly during wake-up? Are other lights affected? Include any trailer wiring or aftermarket LED conversion.
Do not add resistors or grounds by guesswork. A technician should identify the circuit and determine whether the observed behaviour matches the intended design or indicates a connection problem. If the concern also involves a flat battery, report that separately with timing. A visible glow alone does not quantify battery drain or establish a failed body module.
