A displayed parameter may be filtered or updated less frequently than the event being investigated. A slow graph does not necessarily mean the physical sensor responds slowly.
Understand the observation path
Record the tool, selected parameters and time scale. Ask whether the data item is a processed value and whether a different supported measurement is needed. Reducing the number of displayed items may change a tool’s behaviour, but it is not a universal cure.
Do not condemn a sensor from screen movement alone. A technician should choose a capture method that can answer the actual timing question. Keep the original log and symptom marker so any comparison refers to the same event rather than unrelated observations.
