What the component does
In its May 2023 announcement, HELLA described steering sensors that measure steering-wheel torque and angle and transmit the information electrically to a steer-by-wire control system. It announced planned series production from 2025 for several customers. That announcement explains a technology direction; it does not establish fitment on a particular vehicle or confirm the present repair options for a specific steering assembly.
