VAG 00668 terminal 30 faults across one or several modules

00668 is associated with the terminal 30 supply on VAG systems. Ross-Tech distinguishes a report confined to one module from the same concern appearing across several controllers. The pattern helps decide where to start looking, although it does not prove the cause.

Keep the full vehicle scan

Do not extract only the most worrying line. If several modules recorded supply concerns around the same event, the battery, charging history and shared distribution deserve attention. A single affected module may need a closer look at its own feed, fuse, connection and return path.

Record fault status and occurrence information where available. A historical event after a flat battery is different evidence from a current fault that returns while the system is operating. Keep both in the report rather than treating every stored entry as an active failure.

Measure under the complaint conditions

Tell the garage whether the fault occurs while starting, unlocking or operating a particular load. The test should address that condition. A healthy battery result does not automatically establish that voltage reaches every controller correctly.

For AXION, include the scan, battery history and labelled circuit measurements. We can discuss vehicle electrical diagnosis or a module assessment where justified. Do not remove several controllers or repeatedly disconnect the battery before the supply pattern has been documented; doing so can change the evidence you need.

Arrange an assessment

For complex electrical and network diagnostics, send the vehicle details and fault report to AXION. We support enquiries from drivers and garages. Workshop, postal and remote options depend on the job and are confirmed before booking.

Read the supporting technical documentation. The referenced design or vehicle application defines its scope; it is not a universal repair procedure.
