00907 records load-management intervention on the VAG systems described by Ross-Tech. Electrical functions may have been reduced to preserve starting capability. It is therefore important to distinguish an energy-management decision from a broken switch, heater or body-control module.
Look at what happened before the restriction
Was the ignition left on during diagnostic work? Were doors open for a long time? Had the vehicle been parked or repeatedly started on short journeys? Record the circumstances and any accompanying battery or charging warnings.
The next assessment should establish battery condition and charging behaviour using the correct vehicle procedure. A single resting-voltage photograph is not a full assessment. If the battery was recently replaced, keep the specification and any required registration or setup record.
When a body-module enquiry is premature
Several comfort functions reducing their output together may be reacting to one energy concern. Replacing each affected component separately can miss that common cause. Ask the garage whether the restriction is commanded and what condition triggered it.
AXION can review battery-management and vehicle-electrical enquiries with a complete scan. Include whether the functions recover after charging or driving, without treating that recovery as proof of a repair. An intermittent drain, supply issue or incorrect configuration may still need investigation. Agree the assessment before buying a BCM or posting one for bench work.
Arrange an assessment
For complex electrical and network diagnostics, send the vehicle details and fault report to AXION. We support enquiries from drivers and garages. Workshop, postal and remote options depend on the job and are confirmed before booking.
