A ventilated seat is not necessarily a refrigerated seat. Its intended performance depends on the vehicle design, cabin conditions and selected mode. Fan noise alone does not prove the airflow path or the entire comfort system is working as intended.
Describe the comparison
Record whether the passenger seat behaves differently under the same conditions, which levels were selected and whether heating was also enabled. Mention seat covers, upholstery work or liquid spills. Consult the owner’s description before treating ordinary ventilation as failed air conditioning.
Do not push objects into vents or remove seat trim around wiring and restraints. If there is a burning smell, excessive local heat or a warning, stop using the function and seek assessment. For an enquiry, explain whether the issue is low airflow, unusual sound, a control that switches off or a difference between sides. These observations guide different checks and should not be combined into a single vague module-fault claim.
