Energy supplied by a charging point and energy stored in a battery are different measurements. A discrepancy between an invoice, dashboard and app does not by itself establish battery deterioration or a faulty meter.
Compare the measurement boundaries
Record the start and finish time, battery percentages, units and the source of each figure. Heating, cooling and other activity during the session may affect a comparison. Avoid comparing a rounded percentage estimate with a precise billed energy number as if both measured the same thing.
Ask the charging provider to explain its billing measurement. For a vehicle enquiry, include repeated comparable sessions and any warnings. A capacity assessment needs an appropriate method, not subtraction of two unrelated displays.
