A terminal appearing secure does not prove every connection in the starting supply path performs correctly under load. The condition during a start request is more informative than appearance alone.
Preserve the measured conditions
Ask the technician to record where voltage was measured and what the circuit was doing. Include recent battery installation and cable repairs. Do not tighten terminals beyond the specified method or add improvised clamps.
The assessment should distinguish the battery’s behaviour from losses elsewhere in the circuit. A jump-start response may change several conditions at once and is not a complete diagnosis. Send the actual test report with an enquiry rather than reporting only that the battery is new and therefore cannot be involved.
