Frequent short stops and electrical demand can change the conditions under which stop-start is available. An unavailable indication is not automatically evidence of a failed module.
Record the duty cycle
Include journey lengths, door-open time, auxiliary equipment and battery history. Compare the manual’s stated operating conditions and preserve any actual fault messages. A delivery shift is different from a long uninterrupted drive.
If the behaviour is new or accompanied by starting problems, request assessment with the usage record. The workshop should evaluate the relevant supply and control information rather than reset adaptations without evidence. Ask which condition prevents operation and whether it reflects intended control behaviour or a fault requiring repair.
