How to narrow it down

Compare the timing and pattern of the readings with ambient conditions, charging state and available diagnostic flags. A qualified technician can then decide whether to investigate actual thermal behaviour or the sensing path. Retain the full group of readings, including those that stay normal.

What to include with the fault report

Provide time-stamped temperature data and whether the event occurs parked, charging or driving.

An implausible pattern is not permission to ignore a battery warning. Follow the vehicle’s stop or recovery instructions where displayed.
