A sustained low LIN level is different from ordinary pulses. Wiring damage or a connected device can affect the shared line.
Interpreting the evidence
A technician should identify the branch and its connected devices before planning isolation tests. Record supplies and grounds as well as the line behaviour. Removing devices without a controlled plan can introduce new faults and obscure which condition was present originally.
Keep this evidence
Bring the full scan and note whether the problem followed a door, mirror, alternator or sensor replacement.
Do not bridge the line to battery voltage. Component disconnection and probing need the vehicle-specific procedure and a protected test setup.
Speak to AXION
For CAN-bus and vehicle-network diagnostics, send your vehicle details and fault report. Workshop assessment is in Didcot, Oxfordshire. Suitable postal or remote work is confirmed before booking.
