EV charging fails after changing the account associated with the charger

Separate account authorisation from vehicle charging faults. A rejected account or access token is an operator enquiry unless the vehicle also reports a fault. Keep passwords private and provide the error wording rather than account credentials.

What to tell us

  • Operator error.
  • Vehicle message.
  • Date account changed.

Before arranging work

A useful charging report keeps the vehicle message and charger message separate. It also distinguishes a rejected session from one that starts and then stops. Ask the equipment operator about its records when the issue involves a public or home charger.

Ask AXION about this fault. Send the vehicle details and the information above. Please agree an appointment or postal assessment with us before travelling or sending a module.
