HELLA identifies a software-related example for manual-transmission 500/500C vehicles from 2007–2016 with engines 312A6.000 or 169A4.000. Its note discusses P0325 and P0135, sometimes alongside misfiring. It requires electrical and mechanical causes to be excluded before applying an appropriate ECU software update. Before arranging a module assessment
This is not evidence that every knock-sensor or oxygen-sensor code is caused by software. Ask for the present ECU identification, the complete scan and the results of the relevant vehicle tests. If software work has already been attempted, the tool report and before/after behaviour are particularly useful.
