If passive entry works at some handles but not another, list the working and non-working locations. This is more useful than describing the entire keyless system as dead. Include whether pressing the remote buttons still locks and unlocks the car.
Record the local behaviour
Does the affected handle fail to lock, unlock or both? Does the result change with the other authorised key, if already checked? Note rain, washing, handle replacement or door repair as context. Do not dismantle a handle or probe unidentified wires to locate a sensor.
Keep access and start complaints distinct
Tell the workshop whether the vehicle recognises the key for starting. A local entry fault and a start-authorisation fault may need different assessment routes, even when the same key is involved. Preserve any related warnings and the full diagnostic descriptions.

Keep all original authorised keys available and follow the handbook’s access procedure if passive entry becomes unreliable. Security bypasses are not an appropriate diagnostic shortcut.
