Describe the event precisely
Record whether the accelerator stopped responding, response was limited or the warning appeared without an obvious change. Include whether the engine was cold, the weather conditions and any recent interior, wiring or battery work. Report what occurred during normal use; do not deliberately test a loss of accelerator response in traffic.
Attach the complete scan and any existing signal recordings. A technician’s report should identify the channels, operating conditions and reference data. If a pedal or throttle unit was replaced, include the part number and whether the original fault changed.
What to ask before ordering a controller
Ask what evidence identifies the failed part and which associated circuit checks have been completed. If a controller assessment is proposed, retain the original unit and include the wiring findings. A bench repair enquiry should not replace the complete-vehicle checks required to establish the fault.
