Reception changing after glass work needs the installation and vehicle aerial arrangement checked. Some aerial functions may be associated with glass or nearby components, but the exact design is vehicle-specific.
Record the affected reception
State whether FM, DAB and other sources behave differently. Include the replacement glass details and any disconnected trim or wiring. A Bluetooth music source working normally does not test the aerial system.
Ask the installer to assess the correct connections and parts before replacing the radio. Do not add an improvised aerial feed or scrape glass conductors. A clear comparison between reception modes helps the workshop locate the affected function and distinguish an installation concern from a separate infotainment fault.
