Removing several parts before diagnosis can limit what a workshop can observe. Describe the current condition honestly so the assessment can account for missing connections and unavailable operating tests.
List what has been removed
Keep labels, photographs and original scan reports from before dismantling. State whether the vehicle ever ran normally during the work and which changes preceded the complaint. Do not reconnect unfamiliar systems solely to produce a new scan.
Ask whether reassembly or a vehicle-side inspection is required before bench assessment. A removed controller may not reproduce a fault caused by its original environment. A clear dismantling record helps the specialist distinguish current test limitations from evidence about how the vehicle behaved before parts were taken off.
