When arranging recovery, identify the car as battery electric and describe the damage before a vehicle is dispatched. A locked wheel, damaged charge port and inaccessible parking controls can each affect the recovery plan.
How to approach the assessment
The recovery operator needs the correct model information and an appropriate transport method. Do not release brakes, cut cables or attempt to activate transport modes using instructions for a different vehicle. Tell them if the car has already been moved.
