A radar-related warning after bumper work needs both the electronic report and the repair details. Record which panels, brackets, sensors or finishes were changed. Do not assume the issue is solved by erasing the warning because the sensor still communicates.
Identify the exact feature
Adaptive cruise, collision warning and blind-spot systems are not interchangeable. State the feature named by the vehicle and the full stored fault. Include whether the warning is permanent or appears only after driving, without attempting risky road tests to provoke it.
Follow the vehicle’s repair requirements
The manufacturer’s instructions determine the permitted installation and any calibration process. Ask the repairer for its completion record. Bosch’s ADAS equipment overview illustrates the specialist equipment involved; it is not evidence that a particular workshop offers every procedure.
