Temperature dependence is useful evidence, not permission to keep using a faulty restraint system. Record the pattern without applying heat to components. A workshop can consider the stored record and physical condition under controlled conditions.

Before arranging work
An SRS warning deserves qualified assessment. Do not probe deployment circuits, fit bypass devices or suppress the lamp. A controller operation alone cannot establish the condition of belts, airbags, sensors and wiring elsewhere on the vehicle.
