You press the tyre-pressure button, the message disappears, and then it comes back. Repeating the reset gives little extra information. Note how long the warning stays away and what the vehicle is doing when it returns.
Code 02214 is listed by Ross-Tech as a tyre-pressure warning. Its reference points to different reset procedures for different brake-electronics systems, and includes software notes for particular module versions. Those notes are restricted to the stated applications. They are not a reason to update every car with a tyre-pressure warning. Read the 02214 reference.
The reset should follow the correct baseline
Use the vehicle’s instructions to establish tyre pressures and the appropriate reset or calibration process. Saving a baseline while a tyre is incorrectly inflated does not repair the problem. Ask for the actual tyre checks to be recorded alongside the electronic work.
If the warning persists, keep the ABS controller identification and software version from the scan. Include any other brake or stability codes. A workshop checking a technical bulletin needs those details, not simply the registration year or a photograph of the warning lamp.
What to say when booking
Try a description such as: “Pressures checked cold to the vehicle label; reset completed through the menu; warning returned the next morning.” Use your own sequence and include any recent wheel or brake work. There is no need to guess the failed part.
