A FlexRay system can use two channels. Activity observed on one channel does not establish the condition or role of the other.

What to check next

If a scan refers to a particular channel, retain that wording and locate the matching circuit in the vehicle information. Compare the evidence without assuming both channels carry identical traffic or have identical wiring. The configured system determines what should be present.

A generic CAN resistance check cannot substitute for a FlexRay assessment. Use equipment and procedures appropriate to the actual network.
