Successful completion of a learning routine does not prove every cause of harsh shifting has been addressed. The routine’s scope and prerequisites need to be understood alongside the original complaint.
Compare the baseline
Keep the pre-procedure scan, reason for performing it and any repair completed beforehand. Record whether the harshness changed or remained identical. Avoid repeating the same routine without a new diagnostic reason.
A technician should assess the system according to the appropriate procedure and explain any remaining mechanical or electrical uncertainty. The outcome should be verified through the relevant operating conditions, not only a completion screen. Send that combined evidence with a specialist enquiry before deciding the controller itself requires repair.
