Interior lamps staying on should be described by location and duration. A reading light left manually enabled is a different situation from all courtesy lights remaining on despite their normal settings. Check the handbook’s lamp controls before suspecting a module.
Note the vehicle’s reported state
Does the dashboard show a door, bonnet or tailgate open? Do the lamps eventually go out, or do they remain on beyond the usual delay? Record the locking method and any alarm or battery symptoms. Do not repeatedly disconnect the battery before a technician can inspect the original behaviour.
Include recent changes
Mention bulb substitutions, trim work, a latch replacement or an accessory connected to a courtesy-light circuit. If a garage has tested the system, preserve the input-status readings and the conditions used. “All doors closed” as a physical observation is not the same as the controller reporting them closed.
Contact AXION with the affected lamps, timing and vehicle details. The assessment should distinguish controls, inputs, wiring and output operation. If the battery becomes flat, include that history as well, but do not assume the visible light is the only parked load.
