Audio continuing while the display is blank is useful evidence. Describe whether touch controls, physical buttons or steering-wheel controls still change the sound. Record whether the screen is completely dark, faintly visible or briefly shows a startup image.
Preserve the event pattern
Does it happen at every start, after a period of use or after selecting a particular function? Include recent software, battery, display or accessory work. Follow only the handbook’s normal restart guidance; repeated power interruptions can remove evidence and are not a repair diagnosis.
Identify the system before parts enquiries
Different screen and head-unit versions may exist within one model. Keep the vehicle specification and accessible part information. A working radio does not prove every display supply, connection or control function is healthy.
